I am proud to share with you the tools I use to run this blog. If you already went through my guide on how to start a blog and want to take your blog to the next level, then you may want to review the tools I use and decide if any of these can help you as well. I know they can…
Studiopress (Genesis)
I am very happy to share with you the theme that I use for this blog. I use News Pro Theme ($99.95). I like it because it is flexible, fast and good for SEO. I know that it costs money and if you are on a very limited budget, it can be out of your realm of possibilities at this time but I highly recommend it because it has a lot of widget areas, it looks clean and works for most blogs or websites.
WordPress
Obviously, this blog was started with WordPress and continues to run on it. I recommend it as the way to start a blog and run almost any type of website. If you review some of the reasons why use WordPress for your blog, you will most likely agree that this is the way to go.
Aweber
Aweber is the tool I use to send emails to anybody that wants to stay in touch via email. Don’t get me wrong, you can still contact me on social media but if you want to join my newsletter or subscribe to updates Aweber is what powers that aspect.
You can start for free with Aweber.
OptinMonster
Optinmonster is pretty awesome. It is the best plugin to make sure your visitors come back and have a chance to get to know your blog better. Using exit intent technology, Optinmonster presents your visitors with an optin box exactly at the right time. It also provides a sign up box on the sidebar, or footer bar of your blog and can be customized for each page if necessary.
Thirsty Affiliates
Thirsty Affiliates is the plugin allows me to manage all the links on this blog. It is easy to use and saves me lots of time. Whenever I need to link to one of the resources I provide for you (including the ones in this page), I use this plugin.
Social Locker
Social locker allows me to give you the blog tutorials in downloadable form like you see in the home page. It lets me put anything I want in one of those boxes. If the visitor shares it in social media then the contents of that box becomes available. It’s really cool and useful. Think of it as social payment for premium content.
